If your signature links are your sites, then you can easily back off, because even a novice webmaster can achieve better PR than PR2 and PR3.
For your reference:
Your high post number here does not mean everything, and I wonder how can AF staff tolerate such aggressive approach toward new members. There are countless of other webmaster related forums which are more popular and do not "cocky" members like yourself.
Have a nice day.

All of what you just wrote basically means nothing. Pagerank looks to me like it was a marketing ploy by Google to get people completely spastic over absolutely nothing. You can whore up tons of directories, buy link exchanges with sites that have no value to you other than pagerank and get the pagerank you'd like yet still have no first page keyword SERPs. Looks like it backfired as google now has to have even more spam killing equations built in as people are just obsessed with
PR.
As Brent posted above, I doubt anyone who knows what they're doing cares about pagerank, other than really just a quick reference (and I don't even use it for that). I'm competing with sites 5 or 6 years older than me, and that have 500,000 more posts than my forum and I'm above or near them in solid keywords. I have a
PR of 2...
As for the URL Structure, I don't think that the folder a post is in is really going to help and In my PERSONAL opinion makes it look sloppy. I dont like /general-discussion-about-just-anything-youd-like/OMG-OMG-OMG.html it just looks bleh. I like to do basic search engine optimization with my URL's, but worrying about more important things like content will help you much more in my short time of experience so far.
