Installed vBSEO...

I know we've had a million of these threads

but I've installed vBSEO on my World of Warcraft forum. World of Warcraft Forums Check out my URL settings and let me know what improvements you think I could/should make. I will probably be sticking with the short id-based URLs though. My forum is only a little over a month old and was getting very little SE traffic (before my http://www.adminfusion.com/forums/80...e-members.html that is). So I can only see this helping and I'll try to report in on how its working out for me because I know we always have threads asking if its worth it.

Well I can't stand that thread id look, I would suggest using one of the pre-sets that have thread title in them.. You can see even AF changed their structure, so it must be worth a try

I'd also user the RR's which you are not

Ah ok, thanks. What is the advantage of the RRs instead of the vB default forum description in the forumdisplay? The only difference I can see is that the RRs has one extra mention of my site name.

Oh give me a break. It's not like Admin Fusion is some SEO guru website. It doesn't mean a damn thing that they changed their urls.

I don't use RR's and don't have a problem ranking in Google. Just because it's a feature in VBSEO, doesn't mean you have to squeeze it into your site.

It's not worth using. It's just another thing to throw on your page that has little impact with search engines. I wouldn't recommend using the default vBulletin descriptions either.
