I was reading something interesting the other day about the Iphone and why it doesn't have flash. You can read the story here -

basically it seems like the music program "Pandora" is causing a major hold-up because it's very similar to Itunes. What do you think is the major hold up for apple not letting us have flash on our Iphones?

I don't know but I wish they would hurry up, I have the touch and besides the built in YouTube player I can't view any flash on it.

but a lot of sites have flash navigation or flash elements that without, make the site look shitty. I'm waiting to get at least a G2 or G3 Iphone so that all the bugs are worked out

I'd get an iPhones if it wasn't 400 dollars. That's just ridiculous. I'm getting the LG Voyager at the end of the month.

Anyway, I heard that Adobe is creating a flash extension for the iPhone right now.

youtube is flash that plays on the iphone,

Bamma, i tell you what, i thought it was out of control expensive too... but man, once you start using it, you can never leave it. The speed and ease of use of the internets is amazing. I hate macs and i got rid of my HTC/Cingular 8125 for it. It is so fast, the screen is so large, I post on AF with it. It acts just like a normal browser

Yea, my buddy has one. I just can't see myself spending 400 dollars for it. The Voyager is 199 with my rebate.

If I had AT&T I would get an iPhone. I believe I've heard rumors that eventually it will support other networks (without having to be unlocked). I will definitely consider getting one if that happens, because right now my cell phone is very basic. But I still use the touch as a PDA as well as my music player, I browse the internet and IM with friends on meebo and all kinds of stuff.

Iphone needs to get their act together. The stay stingy with phone features and thats why the HTC Touch Pro is better
