Final Thoughts (majority opinion of the AdminFusion staff):

Forum of the Month for February 2008 goes to a very impressive forum in DreamInCode. DIC is a programming community which has been around longer than most of its competitors. It has been able to stay alive and kicking so long for many reasons which will be detailed below.

DIC Has a brilliant design. It works perfectly for a technical forum. Not many sites can pull off the orange look but DIC passes with flying colors. The overall layout is also very nicely done. A lot of information is presented but it is laid out in such a way that it is not overwhelming to the user.

With numbers like DreamInCode its hard to find a flaw in the activity category. The numbers truly speak for themselves to show guest users that this is a great forum. And viewers must have figured that out because there are constantly hundreds of users online at once.

To go along with the activity, DIC has a tremendous amount of content. They feature over 200 tutorials in a wide range of programming topics, from Java to ColdFusion. Another cool feature at DIC is the programming snippets, where instead of an entire tutorial its just a snippet of code that executes a certain method. Its things like this that keeps users coming back to DIC.

Lastly, DreamInCode does very well in the modifications department. The front page allows you to look at all of the latest updates on the site right at your fingertips. One addon of interest is the job listings section.

DreamInCode is one of the best programming and development communities out there today and is highly deserving of Forum of the Month. Congratulations!
