It's springtime again, and for 2008 we're looking to give away some great prizes associated with the Contest we'll be beginning on Thursday the 15th and running for one full month.

Here's the Breakdown:

Point Values:
Points assigned for each counted post: 5
Points assigned for each thread posted to: 3
Points assigned for each forum posted to: 3
Points assigned for starting a Thread 7
Points assigned for Referrals: 50 (the person referred must make at least 5 post)

All but the general forums, and the intro forums will be counted for points.
You must be in the vBulletin group or above to be eligible for this contest.
Post must be at least 50 characters long to be counted, no spamming or intentally lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng post.

Didn't get what these two mean:

Points assigned for each thread posted to: 3

Ps. what about posting rules or are there no rules and every section counts

I've added some more guidelines.
As far as I understand, it means you get 3 points in if you post in the forums eligible, and other 3 points in you post a thread in the eligible forums. So if you post a new thread in said forum, you will get 6 points. It's been a while since we last used this :tiptoe:

So if we post in a eligible forum, we will 6 points for it and 7 points for starting thread?

Also we will get 7 points for starting a thread in non eligible forum?

Great contest! I've always wanted to do something similar, but I wasn't sure how to pull it off from a scripting standpoint and there were always 500,000 other things on my list.

What do we win if we finish 232nd? ha ha

Would it be out of line to ask how you are pulling this off from a scripting standpoint? My vbulletin forum is about music recording so I don't think we'd be competing.

umm, I'm not sure ATM.. all I know is the more you post, the more points you'll get
