also I think if "Success Stories" is the main focus then this contest is limited to very few people coz majority of users here are new to being forum admins and have forums not even an year old. Not all have/can have 2 million posts with 1000 users online. I hope this is what you mean by a success story.

Why not make it a "Best Article/Tutorial" submission contest instead that majority would like and find useful. It can be any topic whether success story, seo tips, graphics creation, programming, etc. Then you/your staff/polls can chose/vote for the best out of them.

To me, a success story is subjective.

A "success" could be just getting the darn forum opened!

So, work at it and come up with something....I'm sure that you'll do just fine.

Yes Arny is right.

It doesn't have to be that you've got a 10,000 unique/day forum or that you're making 100 dollars a day with it. It can be any small or large success really. My forum only has around 750 members, but I consider it a success already

I'll let Brandon know about making it more broad article as long as it fits within vBulletin forums and see what he thinks.

As far as the articles go, you could win and not even submit an article, it's just a good way to get a chunk of points

ya, since it's a 3 month contest, it will be a few weeks before we post the leaders.
but generally, we'll post updates every week, or every other week since it's 3 months long.
