The different between On page SEO and Off page SEO is. On page SEO is done to optimize your website with in the website for search engine. Optimize your website to the other website out of your website called OFF page SEO.

The difference between onpage and offpage is the on site and linkbuilding optimization.

Onpage is concentrated on the meta tags, desciption, header, content and anything that concerns within the website.

Offpage is something to do witha advertising and promoting the site through directories, social media, rss.. and others.

On Page SEO is the techniques where you make sure that your site is search engine friendly. there are few steps you need to follow to make your site search engine friendly and here are they
1. Make sure that all of your web pages can be indexed by search engines- make sure you website has atleast one link to the search engine. eg: like we have google search tab in pages.
2.Make sure that you have unique content on your site. it is not necessary that ever page should be unique but do not copy paste the content in pages.
3.Include meta tags in your site an make sure they are describes correctly
4.Make sure that your URL's are seo friendly.
5.Make sure that the links within your site are complete: ie. if you link your page to some other page make sure that you have done in correctly
6.Give descriptive URL's for images.
7.Make sure that you make good use of anchor text links within your content: ie. if you have a page about some films name, use the phrase as the film name in the text link to it.
8.Make sure that there is only one version of your site/ page.
