We posted a list of 500 Social Bookmarks a while back and it’s been a very useful resource. After that, I was on the hunt for a good reliable automated social bookmarking tool and I’ve finally found one that works. Bookmarking Demon was something I purchased a few months ago, tried it and to tell you the truth, I wasn’t impressed. They have redone the whole application now, and it’s very impressive. You can at this point, submit to 58 social bookmarking sites, you are able to make new accounts on all those sites in about 5 mins. Bookmarking Demon will store the usernames and passwords, and will also submit different title tags so it doesn’t look very spammy.
Here are some pictures of the program, it might seem a bit pricey at first, but you can make all that up with 2 weeks of work on your site. You can login to each account and check all the bookmarks. You can also add your RSS feed and it can randomly pull post from those RSS feeds.
This is a great social bookarking tool, it would still help if you logged into all you accounts and entered some info like make up a city that you live in and fill everything for that city. It helps make the accounts seem real to those that might want to add you as friends. This tool really does help, but it still needs a little personality to make the most of the profiles. If you would like to check out the product page, it’s at Bookmarking Demon. If you do get the program, please come back and reply with your experience
Thanks

I’ve recently purchased this tool too. I’ve very impressed with it’s functionality although there were quite a few websites that were inactive and I couldn’t seem to delete them from the list. Obviously this throws up a few errors when you’re submitting and creating accounts but hopefully all that will be fixed in the main release (currently in beta).
I will be persevering with it for now as it’s a good resource. Going to try and integrate that 500 strong list above but I don’t fancy adding them one by one so we’ll see how it goes.

Did you try playing around with the proxy settings? I was getting several sites that I couldn’t make accounts with as well, but then I adjusted the proxy area under preferences and now I’m able to make accounts in all but maybe one or two bookmarking sites.
Thanks for posting your review of the product, I’m looking forward to the future releases of Bookmarking Demon.

Looks and Reads like a great product. Just have to road test it. My question though is this: Does running BMD, leave a dicernible footprint that, google could then use to penalise you with, and thus nullify its SEO effectiveness.

You can go steal it and enjoy all the viruses and spyware.. Or you can spend a few bucks and have it for life, bug free and always updated.
I get new updates emailed to me by the developer himself!
It’s such a great program, really a small price to pay for the traffic you can generate.

Quote from Brandon:

”.
Is it legal and may not cause suspension of profiles that use this tool?:)

I’ve been using it a little over a month now and I haven’t noticed any problems with the accounts I’ve been using.

I have used the social marker service in the past – http://www.socialmarker.com
however if the truth be known the best way is still the manual way as that generates a real person effect and long-term no problems.
Brandon any further feedback as to how the demon submitter has been working for you after 2 or so months, please?
Cheers

I agree, building the profiles will get you the most out of social bookmarks, or getting multiple bookmarks on the same system. You can long into the account you make with BM and customize them.

I just made a BM post on my new affiliate blog too
http://hq.vc/bookmarking-demon/
Anyways, I still think it’s a great program
