vBulletin SEO Setup

I’ve added a new style that you Can See Here I don’t plan on removing or changing the default style, I like the blue and the members have suggested it stay the default option. The day I added the new vBulletin style I spent an hour or so modifying the new style, but I still have several things I want to try on it.. It’s going to be the fancy style, and the blue white one will be the simple version..lol Well, I’ll just have to see how that goes.

Something else thats happen since I last posted on the blog is that we are now listed in Dmoz ! This is fantastic news for many reasons.

• several clone directories pull their listings right off of dmoz, so after 2 or 3 months we should see a spike in back-links.
• some sites will gain authority being listed in Dmoz

• we might see some visits from the Dmoz listing, there are less then 30 out going links on the page so far, if a person goes to dmoz looking for “vBulletin” They will more then likly see are site and maybe even visit it.

So thats all fantastic

I feel I haven’t been able to give the website my 100% the last 2 weeks. I guess with my wife being sick, I’ve reorganized my priorities. I still want whats best for the site and I think I’ve done a pretty damn good job with promoting it. We are getting new sign ups every day and in the profile field where I ask ” how did you find us” I see “Google” listed !

All our top keywords are on target as far as the niche I’m after, but there is always room to build. I’ve started parking some of my domains that just had dummy script on them, I’m going to focus all my attention on this site and a few new Link Directories that I’m working on.

I haven’t even updated my Real blog ” Sheley.Org” in a few months it seems We’re going to be doing some house work when the weather warms up, This is where I’ll be sharing all that fun blogging.

Anyways, I need to get out and do a little school work. I’ve turned off the options for users to comment on here because of a little spam that I just don’t want to mess with right now.

I’m interested is selling some advertising space on the blog and forum, just use the Contact Us form on the forum or this link here.

I’ve added an Adsense Revenue Sharing Hack @ vBulletinSetup.com
You can read more on it in this thread - Make Money @ vBulletinSetup but it breaks down like this.

For every thread you make in the vBulletinSetup forums, you can earn a % of any adsense clicks that are built up.

You must have 25 post in order to be qualified for this, this is mainly to stop any spammers from just trying to make a quick buck.

I will be expanding this feature to other parts of the board, but for now, it’s only active in the post banner spots.

I realized that I hadn’t posted on the blog lately about what I do during the day for my job. I search at a few vBulletin websites for threads and post with ppl asking for vB help. I’ll send them a PM or email and see what sort of job they are offering. Usually the jobs I dig the most are the sites that are running the 2.x version still and need a new style and hacks added.

I’ve done dozens of sites that just involve a simple upgrade from even the 3.5.x series, but the ones where I really am able to change the look of the site are the ones I have the most fun with.

I have also done dozens of jobs that involve just 20-30 of tweaking of the vBulletin script for SEO. With that you don’t really see much of a change right away, it’s more of a long term investment. The main script I’ll always suggest for vBulletin is ofcourse vBSEO. We have a link on in our sidebar if you are interested in using our affiliate link, and Thank you if you do.

I don’t do custom coding, I can usually modify the hacks available from vb.org or other code site, but as far as me making you a custom script it wont happen… sorry..

I am and will continue to be building a network of my own sites. I’ll be offering strong Page Rank links and pages in the next few months on sites that cover several niches.

I’ve changed the template for the blog, I’ll adding the RSS feed from the forum again soon. What do you think ? I like it

I would say within the next month we’ll get some pagerank on different parts of our blog and vBulletin forum. I’ve seen several of my older websites change in the data-center across the board. We will keep building up our back-links and hope to one day have some PR6 pages through-out the site.

I recently ran across some URL’s that are pr4 and PR3, I’ll be selling 20 or so PR3-4 domains soon, so look for that on our forums.

Hello all you merry vBulletin Optimized owners.

vBulletin Setup has been skyrocketing in the stats this month. We cam into december with about 400 unqiue’s a day and we’re ending on 750-800 This really has meant a lot to me, and has made me appreciate the knowledge of those who I learned from.

I’m always reading about vBulletin SEO and other SEO, I never assume that I know what I’m talking about or everything about vBulletin SEO, just this week I talked on the phone with a gentleman that has been doing professional SEO for 10 years. I plan on talking to him a few more times, he is talking about getting a 1/4 million views in one month. I can only wait and work to get this good.

I just finished adding a new wordpress blog to my wifes site. A-Sheley Studio I still have a few tweaks that I want to do with the Gallery, but it’s pretty much set.

Well I hope you had a good Christmas, I know I did. My wife and I got some great stuff from the parents and grandparents like usual. We’re getting ready to run done to her grandmothers house tomarrow, then over to a friends house to bring in the new year.

I have always had the impression that this wordpress blog was just going to be a temporary front page until I found something better. I’ve purchased a vBulletin script “vBlogetin” and will be testing it on on a Dev. site for a week or two before switching the WP blog up.

You guys are welcome to Discuss this in this thread ” Would you start a Blog ” We are going bigger and bigger everyday and I hope this will be a nice add-on for our members.

We are getting close to 700 unique visits a day and have broke 4,000 post and over 500 members. In the 4 short months I have been working on the forums, it’s now time to focus on the main page.

You guys are always welcome to ask us any vBulletin questions that you may have in the forums.

Our site has really been taking off, Some vBulletin Help sites just sit around and collect dust but not vBulletinSetup. Yesterday we hit an all time high for uniques for one day of 500 unique hits. We have been picking up on some Great keywords in google like vBulletin Styles, vBulletin Hacks, and more vBulletin Help phrases. I don’t want to give to much away, I’ll just say I’m very happy with the progress.

I’ve put in my notice at work, then I’ll be running my websites and business 24/7. That is minus the school and sleep, and maybe a little eating in there somewhere..lol

We are right around 250 or so, confirmed vBulletin Owners on the forums. I’d like to thank everyone who has been contributing to the site and continue to visit.
