vBulletin SEO Setup

Do you have experience merging databases with vBulletin? I’ve done a few for our site and several for past clients. It’s always exciting to get a load of fresh unique content on your site in a matter of minutes. This last week I merged two vBulletin help sites with vBulletinSetup. The first was SleekvBDesigns, which was a vBulletin Styles site. The second site was vBModder, which was a great vBulletin Modification site that I had my eye on for several months. We picked up a couple vBulletin styles which I need to update and add our footer link, they will then be released for you to download for free. We’ve also added several forums on vBulletin Modifications, you can now release and download free vbulletin hacks in our forum.

Another big thing that happened last week was we finally took over and moved to a new dedicated server. I have some tweaking to do, but for the most part everyone is saying the site is loading much faster than before. If you do have some issues, I’ve started this support thread; please let us know what you think.

You’ll also notice the blog is showing the default wordpress style. We’ll be getting an updated vBulletin and wordpress style when vBulletin 4.0 gets here. The wordpress style we had was a bit buggy so I just decided to go ahead and switch that off right now.
