Professional vBulletin SEO Services – Support – Setup
Hello, my name is Brandon Sheley, owner of vBulletinSetup.com
I’ve been offering Professional vBulletin Services since June of 2006 and had been running forums for a couple years before that. I made this site to offer free vBulletin help in the forums and a place to consolidate all the wonderful info on the web about vBulletin. I suggest you check out our SEO and our vBulletin Questions categories before going any further. I’ll list off what I can offer later in this post, but if I can’t do it, I know someone that is reliable and trustworthy, that can.
Within 10 days of buying this domain, we were able to get the top position on Google for 1 of our keywords.
In our first 4 months, we hit 30,000’s in Alexa.
Along with on-site SEO, you must also do off-site SEO. This involves building relevant back-links to your site. Check out our latest accomplishment “vBSetup hit 100,000 links“.
I offer the following services:

Hi folks… I’m Sonnie, one of the owners at Home Theater Shack, a home theater forum for discussion of the same. We recently decided we would upgrade from vB 3.54 to 3.6 and being that I’ve only been doing the forum stuff for less than 4 months, I didn’t want to tackle an upgrade. It took me a week to figure it out the first time. I pretty much put off doing it right when the Gold version was released because of this.
Well… I stumbled across Brandon and we hooked up. He came in, did the upgrade, helped me with several other areas as well. Super fast and painless, and a very reasonable fee. Brandon even gave us several suggestions to improve a few things in our forum, plus helped us with the vBSEO program getting it optimized for the search engines.
Brandon was right there communicating with me through the entire process. He must have 4 hands and two monitors… not sure how he was getting it all done so quickly while chatting with me on yahoo messenger at the same time.
I highly recommend Brandon and will use him the next time around as well.
Thank you Brandon… you are great!

Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for The Pub. We never thought we would get any where even with the “professional” installation from VBulletin. You were so patient and friendly with us even though we didn’t know basically anything at all about what was going on. I can’t thank you enough!

Its great to see another vB support site and the effort you put in looks great.
I hope you and your members have a great time here.

He spent hours helping me set up my initial forum and I can’t say anything bad about his professionalism. What a great guy! If you need vb support, he’s the person to do it. Without him WVU Talk wouldn’t be what it is today.

Nice site. You have a lot of content and anything that you don’t have you link to, which is pretty sweet. Nice forums overall in terms of graphics and availability of free content (such as some very nice looking free vB styles that you can’t get anywhere else). It also looks like you read and reply to everything in here which is a thing that a lot of site owners DON’T do. That’s great. Keep up the good work.

So I launched a new forum, Detail University, on 3/21 and after 5 days I’ve managed to pick up 124 members, 800+ threads and almost 1200 posts. The site is directed to automotive detailing enthusiasts and people who want to learn more about the proper way to detail.
I’m getting some significant search engine traffic already which is pretty amazing. For example, when searching on Google, a popular detailing brand, Poorboy’s World, we already rank 10th.
I learned a lot from this site and would like to thank Brandon and all of its members for all of the valuable information on this site.

I should have done this along time ago, as Brandon has worked on my forum a few times now!
I really appreciate everything he has done. This forum has helped me out of jams a bunch of times since me finding it a while back.
I just hope my forum and other sites would grow like this one has, this place is chalk full of great information.
Brandon is a cool dude and he doesn’t treat you like you are a idiot when asking question’s.
If he is not busy he will jump right in and help you out with whatever problem you are having, or at least point you in the right direction.
The rest of the staff here also know their sh!t, and have helped me a few times when Brandon wasn’t available.
I would recommend this forum to anyone needing anything done to their own forums..
You guy’s are the best!

Brandon,
Great optimization tips! Your concise bulleted list should save new vBulletin owners a ton of research time.
I found your site while searching through Google looking for additional tips on how we could further optimize ForumGarden.com
What we have found is that the tips you have listed will reduce a server’s load by up to 1/2 if you have a busy forum.
Currently, our largest forum serves about 165,000 pages per day. That may not be gargantuan to some, but it can tax any dedicated server if it is not setup properly.
The *one item I did not see – and the one item that can have a huge impact on performance is whether or not you batch your emails.
We ran for years using the “immediate send” setup. One of the best single changes we made was to change it from immediate send to batched – with locking. (The setting we use is 20 emails per batch.)
If you have lots of users, threads, and many active subscriptions, this setting alone can make or break your load values.
Good luck!

Hey Guys,
If you’re new to vBulletinSetup.com I’d like to tell you a little about the experience we’ve had with their service.
I own a Forum that greatly needed some upgrades and updates. It’s a Health and Fitness related forum that exists to promote our site which sells nutritional supplements.
I hired vBulletinSetup to install some updates, upgrade my vBulletin and vBSEO program and also install some cool hacks too.
Brandon worked on my forum and I was extremely pleased! I had a LOT of questions and pretty tough updates to deal with. Brandon not only fixed the things I hired him to, but also cleaned up the site a little and helped with SEO and a lot of other really cool things.
If you need to install upgrades, hacks etc. I’d definitely recommend vBulletinSetup.com

Brandon is a wonderful man who is full of good ideas and very good in his job.
He has updated our closed forum that deals with alternative religion.
NOK Not that he’s super nice, but he is also full of ideas, suggestions and help you to be 100% satisfied with the work he performs.
I would recommend him to all who need help to update, change, etc.
No problem is too big for the wonderful man and we can not help but to thank Him with all our hearts.
Thanks Brandon.
Everything works and it has not been any problems at all.
We will get back to you very soon and get more help to the changes.
It is definitely surely.
A True Happy Easter to you and yours.

Just my two cents on Brandon’s work…
The first time I found Brandon on Twitter I needed someone to install a ton of plug-ins quickly and he did the job within 48 hours of inquiry. For the amount of plug-ins and work required his price was exceptionally reasonable.
Yesterday I tried to upgrade to vBulletin 3.8.2 and completely screwed up my forums big time. None of the plug-ins worked anymore and vBSEO was broken too.
Within 10 minutes of sending Brandon a tweet he was on it. We talked on AIM for about an hour to diagnose and figure out the problem and he had the site in even better shape than it was before the upgrade within 2 hours of contact.
I can’t speak for the experience of others but I can say for sure that I’ve found my vBulletin “go to guy” and would certainly recommend him in the future to others looking for customizations/quick fixes.

I am new to the forums, but I must say that I am extremely happy with the work Brandon has done for me. I am like a kid in a candy store knowing that I finally got someone who can do the work I need and really do a great job.
Communication has been awesome, price is very fair, and i can’t find anything he can’t do. In one day he has fixed months of frustrating problems I have had.
Just wanted to say thanks to Brandon and for anyone looking for a “good one,” well you found him!

I just wanted to take a minute to express my thanks for a job well done.
I have so much more to do on my site, but, I really appreciate your
fast and speedy upgrade to 3.8.2.
In addition, those pesky little side tables were just sitting on my front
page half done from another person that I hired. You re-installed the
mod and had them up and running in no time. What a relief! I know
you took extra time to optimized my site in some other ways for maximum
search utilization, I appreciate the extra time that you took.
It’s nice to know there’s someone dependable that I can go to for work
as I’m upgrading my forum. Thanks for being understanding and patient
with my limited knowledge of forum coding, CSS and HTML.

I was having serious problems with my site being hacked and needed to do some serious upgrades. Over the years I had made tons of template edits, added mods, and overall had backed myself into a corner. I had stopped upgrading VB back at 3.6.4 and vbseo at 3.0. All was working (if it aint broke…) so I never bothered to upgrade anything. Then ==PUFF== my site was under attack several times a day, obviously through holes within outdated scripts and mods.
Never having hired anyone to do work for me I turned to Brandon to see what would be involved. While I felt I could probably do the work over time I knew that getting it done quickly and right the first time would be worth hiring someone far more capable than myself.
After consulting with me by email and phone we agreed upon the work I needed and as promised he delivered. I probably hounded him more than I should have along the way with my sob story of hacker attacks but he remained patient while going above and beyond to get my site put back together.
I can’t say enough about the service I received from Brandon. Top notch
